Fernley, NV – The City of Fernley City Council voted 4-0 to approve the Special Use Permit for the GreeNu Commodities/GWECC private project. The special use permit was granted conditionally, and will be issued following a site visit to the operating California facility. The project will continue the regulatory and permitting process through the coming weeks, which include further local, State and Federal regulatory compliance permits relating to the project.

In the interim down time related to process oriented permitting, the project will simultaneously submit to planning the proper building/design collateral, in an effort to fast track the build-out process. GWECC is working on a strict time schedule to begin building construction before the winter.
